“So Beautiful”

We actually replaced real wood flooring in my home with Shenandoah Mahogany. We were tired of maintaining it. This was the perfect flooring type for us. It’s so rich looking and beautiful. I could not be happier!

Love the look of this tile!

Our 8 year old original tile in our kitchen was discontinued & due to some tiles coming loose & chipping we decided to go with this True Porcelain tile in the Shenandoah Mahogany. It was just my husband & myself (I am the tiling person) and starting on December 22 we busted out & removed the old tile (not working only for Christmas Day); put down cement board this time as we found out once we started removing the old tile that was our problem with the old tile had been our underlayment; and completed the grout by 11:59 on New Years Eve. The 1st piece of tile was not started until December 28th and yet we were done before New Years! The reason I put this detail in is because of how easy this tile is to install if you have laid tile before. I had never used long plank tile before & though it took getting used to handling these big pieces & the weight of the piece, once I got the hang of it the floor went down fast. The kitchen measures out 15’x15’ and the previous tile was 20”x20” also heavy & bulky. I would prefer to put this down any day though I really hope I do not need to again. The color is gorgeous with our cabinets & brings out the dark grain in the hickory wood. I chose to use a dark grout to make the floors more realistic to wood floors and used the premade Flex Color CQ by Mapei which eliminated having to mix the grout. I wanted to wait a couple of months at least before writing this review to see how the tile felt & held up under a lot of traffic plus a busy kitchen. It is has passed every test & is super easy to mop! Wonderful USA product! I do not know why the pics turn upside down but I still want others to see how beautiful this tile is when installed & using a different grout color.
